CHRISTIAN SIRIANO FOR PAYLESS

I am ecstatic to tell you guys of my new shoe buy! Yesterday I went shopping for my California trip and came back with a pair of flats by Christian Siriano for Payless! (I know he was from Project Runway but I never watched that show and don't know anything about it so it's not like I'm a fan if his or anything, I just love the shoes!) I was originally looking for a pair of black flats but just couldn't get myself to buy a plain, black, unattractive pair because I already have similar ones at home -_-

Anyways onto the shoes, I have been looking for a pair like this since forever! It is called the "Cindy" and it is a cognac color. I love the detailing the most! I love how it's weaved, not in a particular pattern but instead in a crazy and fun way! The scallop hemming of the shoe is so darn pretty! The peep toe makes it just perfect for summer! I am just in love! For $30, I had to buy it! It is also very comfortable :)

I know my mom will love it too because she used to have so many pairs like this in the 80's; I'm still kind of upset that she's thrown away so many of her clothes, shoes, and accessories ;(

Side note: I've been blogging on my iPhone and it sucks because it only uploads pictures onto the end of each blog post.

TARGET SPRING '12 BEAUTY BAG

Hello! I'm back to talk about the Target Beauty Bag that I received last Tuesday! I was so excited when signing up for one but didn't actually expect to receive one.

It came in a white rectangle box with the Target logo. When I opened it, I was surprised to see the color of the beauty bag; it's a vibrant orange and pretty fushia striped bag, perfect colors!

Inside it are 4 samples and a coupon book!

First is the Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes. I've tried it and do not think it works as well as the wipes I am using now. It is basically a flat, smooth wipe with no bumps to actually clean. It barely picked up any of my makeup and I feel like it just spread the makeup all over my face.

Second is the Pantene Color Reserve Shine Conditioner. This to me is nothing. I don't and have never dyed my hair and do not use conditioner whatsoever. So I probably will just use this to use it.

Third is the Neutrogena Visibly Bright Daily Facial Cleanser. I'm excited to try this one out. I'm all about skin brightening/whitening (not extreme though) Lets hope it does work as claimed!

Fourth is the Nivea Extended Moisture Daily Lotion. I have already found my perfect lotion so I don't know if I'll even give this one a try ...we'll see!

Fifth is the L'oreal Paris Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer. Again with the whole skin brightening/whitening thing, I'm excited to try this I've out too! I saw it in a magazine and have been wanting to try it since; thank goodness it came in the bag!

And last but not least, the Target coupon book! All hail the mighty coupons! Hehe I don't need most of them but having it makes me smile :)

Thanks Target! I'm in a love/hate relationship with you just in case you don't know ;)

HI HI HI <3

Hi there! My goodness! I haven't blogged in such a long time! Mostly because right now I don't have access to a laptop or computer in the comfort of my home ;( So many things have happened since I've stopped blogging. I miss every moment of it though and now I'm back, on my iPhone, hoping blogging this way is just as easy. I'll be back very soon to return to my blogging ways ;) Life has it's funny ways. THE DEEPEST BLUES ARE BLACK

Something about my title ...this quote that sounds just right. "The deepest blues are black" Anyways doesn't it match my outfit today? I have a thing for the navy, dark blue color because I find it so rich and pretty. Today was yet again another warm winter's day. I did get to spend a little time outside and it made me miss the nights my friends and I would go for night walks. I can't wait for the so many great things that are to come my way this year!

DONE WITH IT

This is from yesterday. I went at it again with another pair of jeans! I'm starting to see what I've been missing all these years without jeans ...so many possibilities! I love this top because of the details, it's so cute! And this bag is very floppy but I love the color and style. With the warmer weather we had yesterday, it felt like Spring  and with an outfit like this, it just made it more Spring than it is. Can't wait for winter to officially be over.

AT ONE POINT IT WAS WHAT I WANTED

"You look funky." "You're extra tall today." "You look like you're from the 70's."-people I see daily. LOL! All these comments made me smile! I know this is definitely a new outfit for me. Here I am with another pair of my jeans; it has a 35" inseam and the bottom is pret-ty flared. But because of that I had to wear my cognac heeled booties I got about a year ago, still fairly new since I've only wore them about 3 times so far; thank goodness it went perfectly! If not for these booties, I would've had to wear my flats which just completely drowns me in.

I'll probably wear another one of my jeans tomorrow; I'm on a jean-wearing streak here! Woo hoo!

WEEK RECAP 01162012 | 01222012

Instead of a weekend recap, I'll do a week recap! Ah, so many things happen this past week! Mexican bakery goodies, tapioca tri-color, bubble tea, papaya salad, girl's night in, Shaman ritual, coffee, and organizing of my closet. I just keep moving!

PURPLES & STRIPES

Excuse the dryness and cracked nails but I did this about 4 days ago and it's already messing up but I'll keep it on for a few more days since I really like the colors. At first I wanted to do gradient nails but didn't have colors to transition it the way I want so I went for stripes in the same color family even though I don't like stripes ...it turned out pretty cute!

DEEP, DEEP INSIDE SOMEWHERE

The past week and weekend has been freezing cold! I thought I was the only who would be missing out on taking outfit of the day pictures outside but apparently many bloggers have not been taking pictures outside and have been taking indoor pictures. To avoid my door of hanging scarves and belts background, I decided to do mirror pictures ...yea ...I could have had my sisters take it for me but this is more convenient.

Past weekend I organized my closet and to my surprise found about 6 other pairs of jeans hidden in my pile of pants. So I wore one today; this one is actually very comfortable for a pair of jeans! Maybe I'll slowly get back into wearing jeans? My shoes are one of my favorites but it hurts like heck after a couple of minutes of wearing them, the right side is just oddly off =( So I never wear it around. But today was an exception due to only 5 hours of work and socks were added because of the snowfall. Overall this outfit is a bit different from what I would usually wear but is super comfortable!

EASIER THAN I THOUGHT

I felt a little dressy today ...wanted to lift up my mood and this outfit sure did! I haven't worn these boots in a while so getting them on felt great! I bought this white button up a while ago but wore it for the first time today; the back is slightly longer than the front! This is what I love about it! I actually wore the scarf the whole morning and kept it the main part of my outfit ...I'm always cold so this was a perfect warm item to use. 

My day is still going good and calm so far =) Have a nice day!

IPHONE LOVING

Oh yes! I got myself an iPhone 4s! My first smart phone! I am in love with it but still learning about it everyday. I still have to get a cover or a few and decoart some of them and get screen protectors for it but while I'm waiting on that, I'm being super careful and using one of my little bag as my phone's case right now ...it's perfect actually! I love my iPhone 4s!

A WHOLE DIFFERENT VIEW

Hello Tuesday ...my most hated day haha I have my reasons but I think it's starting to turn around. I just got off of work not too long ago and debated if I wanted to take off my warm coat, scarf and gloves to bare the cold for my blog ...my blog is important to me haha so I did it and voila! Outfit of the day pictures! Nothing much to say about the outfit though ...I did put on my new favorite earrings today! ^^
